Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is one of the most important aspects of a child’s education. At the AGBU Schools, parents support school activities by volunteering in either of two committees: The Ladies’ Auxiliary and Parents’ Committee, through which the parents of our schoolchildren give meaningful and significant service to the school.

These committees work closely with the school administration in designing and implementing activities that will benefit the school and the students. To foster school spirit, entertain, and draw students, parents, and faculty closer together, they organize events, bake sales, concerts, brunches and other fundraising initiatives in line with our traditions and heritage.

The Ladies’ Auxiliary and Parents’ Committees are meant to assist the school with community outreach programs and enhancing educational opportunities. They are the perfect setting to get involved and make new friends. Parents are welcome and encouraged to support school activities by joining either of these two committees.
