On Tuesday, June 4, over 50 attendees, including esteemed guests, Carlo James Aragon, the cultural affairs officer at the U.S. Embassy, AGBU District Committee members, AGBU-AYA Central Committee members, and students, gathered for the AGBU Schools tableau showcase titled “Mastering Data Storytelling,” which was a culmination of a comprehensive workshop funded by the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in collaboration with the Lebanese Association for Rehabilitation and Awareness (LARA).

The event featured student presentations of Tableau projects exploring different topics such as GDP, happiness and life satisfaction index, political empowerment of women and corruption in different countries, accompanied by in-depth discussions by Dr. Ara Sanjian, a distinguished AGBU Schools alumnus and Associate Professor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Dr. Nazir Hawi, Co-Founder and President of LARA, and our school Director, Mr. Ara Vasilian, addressed the attendees, who also enjoyed vibrant Armenian and American cultural performances by the students, making it a truly memorable event.
